The Adventurer's Guild has put out a call. The town of Emberoak is rebuilding and it needs new recruits.

Join us on 15th August for a 6-hour beginner-friendly live-action roleplay experience set in the world of Emberoak.

Pick your class, train with a guild master, gather resources, complete quests, and enter the Pit Arena to fight monsters.

The town has been through a siege before. The damage is still visible. The Resurrection Tree, the heart of Emberoak, survived. But whispers say the next horde is already on its way. 

The Guild is here to prepare the town. That means rebuilding the lumber mill, repairing the forge, restoring the fishing pier, and making sure there are enough adventurers standing when the time comes.

• Pick your class and train with a dedicated guild trainer: Fighter, Rogue, Mage, or Healer.

• Gather resources, complete quests, and help rebuild the town of Emberoak.

• Earn XP, level up your adventurer rank, and fight your way through the Pit Arena.

The Experience

This is a beginner-friendly Live Action Roleplay (LARP) set in the fantasy town of Emberoak. 

Inspired by the structure of MMORPGs like World of Warcraft and Maplestory, we play it out IRL - roleplay, combat, quests. The event is designed so that anyone can jump in, regardless of experience.

When you arrive, you'll register as an adventurer, choose your class, and receive a short combat and safety briefing before heading into the world. From there, the day is yours.

You can explore the town, gather resources, pick and train under a class guildmaster, take on quests from the questboard, test your skills in the Pit Arena, or simply find your footing as a first-time LARPer.

Costumes are encouraged to enrich the experience, but not mandatory for first-timers. Whether you're a seasoned roleplayer or this is your very first time stepping into a character, all are welcome!

This event builds on the world of Ember & Oak Tavern and Pasar Luna, but stands entirely on its own. New adventurers are always welcome.

How It Works:

Character-driven roleplay supported by LARP combat structure:

• Choose your class: Fighter, Rogue, Mage, or Healer

• Attend class training with your guild trainer before entering the world

• Gather and spend resources, complete quests, and earn Gold & XP

• Challenge other adventurers or monsters at the Pit Arena

• Regroup at dinner break (fantasy picnic: bring your own food and drinks)

  
  

Classes Available:

• ⚔️ Fighter: strength-based combat, arena specialist

• 🗡️ Rogue: stealth, theft, and deception

• 🔮 Mage: spell-casting, control abilities, magi crystal resource

• 💚 Healer: restore HP, blessings, and support abilities

Safety & House Rules:

For everyone's safety and comfort:

• All armours, shields, and items must be safety-checked before entering the battlefield

• Do not touch or physically interact with actors or other players without consent

• No real weapons of any kind, including decorative or prop weapons, permitted on premises. Items will be held at registration.

• LARP-safe weapons will be available on-site for use during the event

• A safety marshal will be present at all times on the battlefield
