➡️ 10 AM - 12 PM: Create. Refine. Play. – A Character-Building Workshop for Live Storytelling & RPGs

In a day centred on identity and influence, this practical workshop equips you with the tools to build playable characters with clarity and confidence.

 A hands-on, interactive workshop designed to help participants build strong, playable characters for live storytelling games such as D&D, LARP, and other narrative RPGs. Through guided exercises and live roleplay practice, participants will learn how to create characters that feel natural, confident, and engaging in play.

• In this session, learn to:

  • Anchor behaviour and instinct so your character feels grounded

  • Craft clear motivations that naturally drive action

  • Use background and belief to guide roleplay choices

  • Develop memorable traits that stand out in play

  • Make confident decisions in-character, even under pressure

This workshop is practical, accessible, and play-focused, designed for LARPers, newcomers and experienced players.

You’ll leave the workshop with a fully realised, playable character concept that can be brought into the LARP later in the day, or adapted for your next D&D or TTRPG session. A character that is ready to step into Pasar Luna and navigate its alliances, rivalries and shifting power.

• Content Notes: This session involves improvisation, light roleplay scenarios, and themes of conflict and tension typical of narrative storytelling. No graphic or explicit content will be included.

➡️ 1 PM - 4 PM: Pasar Luna: A Market Divided – A Live Magical Bazaar LARP Experience

The fire at Ember & Oak may have settled… but influence has only begun to burn brighter. The Adventurer’s Guild has taken its ambitions beyond the tavern walls and into Pasar Luna, a wandering moonlit market where contracts shimmer, rumours travel faster than coin, and two powerful houses compete for control.

Join us for a 3-hour immersive live-action roleplay market experience where alliances are forged by candlelight, fortunes shift by whispered word, and the future of the market rests entirely in your hands.

Two rival families seek official Guild recognition to steward Pasar Luna. They are not at war, but make no mistake, they are competing.

Will you choose stability? Push for change? Or build something new altogether?

This magical bazaar–themed Live Action Roleplay builds on the world of Ember & Oak (Our previous LARP), but stands entirely on its own. Whether returning or joining for the first time, you will have a meaningful role to play.

• How It Works:

  Character-driven roleplay supported by light structure:

  • Complete market tasks and quests to earn Gold & Influence

  • Spend resources strategically to gain access, information, or leverage

  • Publicly align with a house, or form your own coalition

  There is no structured combat.

  If conflict happens, it carries political consequences, not mechanical rewards.

  The story unfolds based on player action.

  
  

  The ending depends entirely on visible support and influence gathered.

➡️ 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM: M.A.T.A – A Improvised TTRPG Live Play Show

Built on the Never Stop Blowing Up system, Mata is a improvisational TTRPG live play show that blends theatrical storytelling with the high-chaos escalation mechanics.

A group of players step into the roles of seemingly ordinary senior citizens… but they are secretly agents protecting the city.

When a mission threatens to expose their identities, things escalate quickly. Every roll raises the stakes. Successes get bigger. Failures get wilder. Chaos builds.

Watch the story unfold in real time, shaped by dice and player decisions. Light audience participation may be invited.

A fast-paced chaos that is over-the-top and comedic, but grounded in character relationships and identity. High escalations, big risks, brilliant successes and spectacular failures.
