The Road to Emberoak: A LARP TEASER! FREE Community Event

A small guild outpost has set up at *SCAPE The White Space, and the word is spreading: the town of Emberoak is calling for new adventurers.

Something stirs on the horizon. The town has faced darkness before and held but many of the adventurers who defended it have since retired. The roads need fresh faces. The guild needs to know who is worthy of the call.

That is where you come in.

This free two-hour taster is your introduction to LARP (Live Action Roleplay) and your first step toward the world of Emberoak.

Whether you have never heard of LARP before or have always been curious but never quite taken the leap, this session is designed to get you into the world gently, confidently, and with as much fun as possible.

You will arrive as yourself. You will leave as someone else entirely.

What to Expect

• Learn how to create your character: come up with a fantasy name, an occupation, and a reason your character wants to become an adventurer

• Learn the rules and etiquette of LARP: the dos, the don'ts, and everything in between

• Step into the world as a villager answering the guild's call: meet the NPCs at the outpost and hear what is happening in Emberoak

• Prove your worth: a small puzzle and a short combat tutorial, woven into the roleplay so it never feels like homework

• Hear the rumours: whispers of a dark power that may be stirring again, and a town that might not hold a second time without help

• Walk away with a discounted ticket to The Legend of Emberoak and a special item with a small in-game buff for those who come to the main event on 15th August

• Stick around for Q&A: ask anything about LARP, the world, or what comes next

• This taster is the recommended warm-up for our main LARP event: The Legend of Emberoak: New Beginnings, on 15th August
