About the Event
Vault of the Elder
Cult lore tells of a vault that is home to a wise elder, one who knows the secrets of escaping the island.
A cult leader is willing to share the directions. But there is a condition: bring back one of the strange relics the elder is said to hoard.
The road to the vault is not a quiet one. Cultists lie in wait along the way, and the vault itself sits in a realm of frozen mountains where the cold alone can kill. Beyond the ice, a gravity-defying city of hollow stone towers rises from the mountainside, etched with hieroglyphs no one living should be able to read.
Something guards the path into the mountain. Something else waits at the end of it.
The carvings tell a story. The warnings are written in a language you can read.
Beware the Elder.
Across two sessions, your party will push through ambush, extreme cold, and ancient places that were never built for you. This is a story about the price of answers, and about what you are prepared to carry back from the dark.
