This July, we are tackling the titan of all adventure stories: Homer’s The Odyssey. With Christopher Nolan’s massive new cinematic adaptation hitting screens just days before our session, we thought it was the perfect time to revisit the foundational epic that started it all.

As our resident baker Bea is on her own little odyssey, we're bringing the party to Bondfire Tavern and they're making it extra special for us with a sweet 15% off non-alcohol purchases. Our host's preference is Emily Wilson's as that's the one he studied at university and also the text that Nolan is primarily using. Don't worry. Even if you've only watched the movie, just want to talk about Greek gods and goddesses, or just want to check out what's good at Bondfire Tavern, there’ll be good company, good conversation, and some very good food for you!!
