What better way to celebrate All-Hallows Eve than by stepping into the most chaotic, lethal, and absurdly addictive dungeon ever televised? This October, we are diving headfirst into Matt Dinniman’s LitRPG phenomenon, Dungeon Crawler Carl.

Webcomic, graphic novel or plain old paperback, when the universe’s ruthless corporations turn Earth into a parking lot and force the surviving remnants of humanity into a multi-level sci-fi dungeon crawl for alien entertainment, you do what any sane person in heart-print boxers would do: you fight back.

Descend into the crawling nightmare of the Dungeon, where killer traps, sadistic AI game masters, and corporate sponsors dictate your every move.

Carl didn’t ask to be a hero. He just wanted to take his ex-girlfriend’s prize-winning Persian cat, Princess Donut, out into the cold night. Instead, he woke up in the ruins of his apartment complex as the universe’s newest, most reluctant gladiator.

Armed with a pair of stinking boxer shorts, a talking cat with magical gear, and an escalating series of increasingly ridiculous foot-based skills, Carl has to beat the system or die trying. We’ll be discussing leveling up, min-maxing your sanity, corporate dystopias, and why this is the ultimate modern evolution of tabletop dungeon crawling.

As per usual, there’ll be good company, good conversation, and some very good food!!
