In ages past, a proud city once stood here. It endured for centuries, its walls weathering endless sieges and its people clinging to survival.

But in time, something happened, something that silenced its streets and left nothing but ruins.

Now, only a single structure remains: Montarthas Manor, looming and untouched, defying the years while all else around it has crumbled.

Travelers whisper of strange lights in its windows, of voices carried on the wind, of a house that hungers.

No one remembers how or why the city fell. All that is certain is this: the manor still waits, and those who enter rarely return.
