A Corrupted River. A Hidden Threat. Will You Cleanse the Waters or Be Consumed?

The once-crystal-clear river that flows past the village of High Ery has turned dark and foul, poisoning crops, livestock, and those unlucky enough to drink from its cursed waters. The village elders have sent out a desperate call for adventurers to investigate the source of the corruption–a mysterious cave deep in the wilderness.

Strange rumours swirl among the villagers, whispers of glowing mushrooms, writhing shadows, and an eerie, otherworldly hum that echoes through the night. Something is festering beneath the earth… something that does not belong.

Your mission is clear: follow the river upstream, uncover the source of the contamination, and put an end to it. But beware–the darkness in the cave is alive, and it does not wish to be disturbed.

Will you cleanse the waters, or will the corruption claim you as its own? _____________________________________________________
