The Ember & Oak Tavern reopens its doors this Halloween… but the night feels different.

A thief has stolen what should never have been touched, and something ancient stirs beneath the laughter and light.

This year’s Halloween unfolds in two parts: part mystery, part revelry, and all magic

• At Tavern Quest (6:00 PM), adventurers of the Ember & Oak Tavern LARP Guild gather for a live quest through the tavern and beyond.

• At Halloween Party (8:00 PM), opens to all for a night of Halloween festivities.

Highlights

• Immersive Halloween Experience: Step into a transformed medieval tavern where guests, GMs, and actors share the same world.

• BYOB Halloween Party: Bring your own drinks and celebrate with friends (responsibly, of course).

• Dual Experience: Continue your Ember & Oak LARP quest as an adventurer, or join the Halloween Party later when the doors open to all.

• Costumes Encouraged: Come in costume, come in character, or simply come curious, the Ember & Oak welcomes all.

⚔️ Part I – Tavern's Quest (6:00 PM)

Those who answered the Guild’s Call will gather as the tavern doors creak open once more.The air hums with enchantment, laughter hides secrets, and the mists whisper bargains waiting to be made. A live quest unfolds across the Ember & Oak, filled with riddles, moral choices, and one final deal that could change the night forever.

🍷 Part II – Halloween Party (8:00 PM)

Our door will open to the rest who want to celebrate the festivities and enjoy Halloween. Drink, mingle, and make merry among curious company as music, laughter, and lingering magic fill the air.

The choices made by the adventurers may yet shape your fate… the Ember & Oak remembers all who enter.

🌒 The Night’s Journey

Some doors are eager to open. Others demand proof you’ve earned the way forward. All lead somewhere you’ll never quite forget.

• The First Door: A shimmer of light, a trick of the ears, where revels turn to riddles and beauty hides a trap. Only by uncovering its truths will the path ahead appear.

• The Second Door: Mist seeps beneath the floorboards, carrying whispers of sacrifice. Each move matters here, step too boldly, and you may find yourself cornered before you know the game.

• The Final Door: The air thickens with smoke and spice. Laughter twists into something dangerous, and bargains burn hotter than coals. Will a bargain be struck, or will every toast run dry?

• 6:30 PM: The quest begins

• 8:00 PM: Tavern doors open for all who want to join only for Halloween festivities; the night unfolds!

Note: Purchasing a Tavern’s Quest ticket already includes entry to the Halloween Party at 8 PM. You do not need to buy a separate ticket. The standalone Halloween Party ticket is only for guests who wish to attend just the party, without joining the Quest.

🧾 Alcohol Policy – BYOB Tavern Night

This is a BYOB event. Bring your own drinks to share and enjoy!

• A $50 cleaning fee applies if situation arises.

• Responsible drinking is mandatory: the tavern must remain safe for all.

• Over-intoxication or disruptive behaviour will result in removal from the event.

Let’s keep it merry, not messy, drink, laugh, and leave the tavern standing.

• No physical contact with actors or guests without consent.

• Prop & LARP weapons (including decorative blades or replicas) must be checked in at registration for safekeeping.

• Travel light – no bag deposits available. Please only bring essentials.

• Shoes-Off Venue: Please remove footwear at the door.

• Photography & Videography: May be taken for promotional purposes, let us know if you prefer not to be included.
