Imagine a day where you don’t just play tabletop games, you watch them, participate in them, laugh at them and feel slightly called out by them.

TableMinis Day Out is a full-day immersion into tabletop storytelling in all its forms: workshops, live shows, improvised chaos, audience participation, and emotionally devastating TTRPG theatre, all packed into one glorious day out.

We want you - whether you’re a seasoned TTRPG player or completely new to the table, a theatre or improv fan, a curious newcomer looking to experience tabletop play without pressure, or a community-minded soul who loves shared, live experiences. If you’re someone who wants a full day filled with laughter, creativity, and unforgettable storytelling, you’ll feel right at home here. Come curious. Stay feral. Leave inspired, tired, and emotionally fulfilled.

✨ A TableMinis Milestone Moment

This isn’t just another event for us. TableMinis Day Out marks our very first full-day liveshows presented in a full Black Box theatre – organised and hosted entirely by us!

If you’ve ever played at our tables, laughed with us, cried over a bad roll, or believed that tabletop stories deserve to be seen as much as they’re played, come celebrate with us and share the joy and laughter with your friends! Come commemorate this milestone, cheer loudly, and be part of a moment we’ll remember for a long time.

Note: This event is M18. There will be moments where audience can jump in for interactive segments but audience participation is optional.

✨ The Line-Up:

• 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM (2h) : Creating Compelling Characters (A Panel Workshop)

  Kick the day off with a hands-on, practical workshop where you will learn how to build characters that feel real, memorable, and effortless to roleplay. Instead of relying on tragic backstories, this session breaks character creation down into clear, repeatable steps, from behaviour and motivation to mechanics and in-game decisions. By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with a well-defined, playable character and practical tools they can confidently use in future games. Character sheets will be provided; please bring your own writing and note-taking tools.

• 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM (2h) : Barbarian Island (A Participatory TTRPG Game Show)

  "The tribe has spoken." "Fire represents your life. When your fire's gone, so are you." A Survivor-inspired game. This is where things get loud. Barbarian Island is a live, hosted, improvisational game show inspired by tabletop roleplay and improv theatre. Audience members may (only if you want!) jump on stage to embody a barbarian character, face playful prompts and fuel the chaos, all guided by a game master who keeps things fun, safe, and moving. No experience needed. No pressure to perform. Maximum laughter and “why did I volunteer” energy. Come to play, come to cheer or just come to laugh.

  
  

• 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (1h) : Yes, D&D (An Improv Show by The Imps)

  What happens when a group of Game Masters stop planning… and just say yes? This is a fun, fast, and most likely hilariously improv show where we throw preparation out the window and embraces bold choices, wild turns, , terrible ideas and collective chaos. Anything can happen, ridiculous outcomes and unhinged moments that could only happen in real time.
  

• 7:30 PM – 10 PM (2.5h) : 'O'rdinary Levels (An Original TTRPG Live Show)

  You remember O Levels. The stress. The waiting. The single piece of paper that felt like your entire future.

  Now imagine a world where that paper actually decides everything. Ordinary Levels is a narrative-driven TTRPG show that blends dark humour, social commentary, and painfully familiar experiences into something unsettling, funny, and a little too real.

  It’s clever. It’s uncomfortable. It might emotionally sucker-punch you.
