A coastal village on the Umigiri Coast is in crisis.

At every high tide, a mournful whale song drifts in from the sea and with it, the sick get sicker. Flesh rots. Healing magic makes things worse, not better. And no one in the village has any idea what is out there, or why it will not stop.

The Heirs of Kirin have put out a call. The answer needs to be found before the village runs out of time.

Phantom of the Mourning Tide is an investigation and kaiju-hunt adventure set along a fog-shrouded coastline steeped in maritime folklore. The party will need to piece together what is happening, track the threat to its source, and decide how to deal with something ancient, enormous, and grieving.

This is not a simple monster hunt. The creature has a reason. The song has meaning. And the way you choose to end this encounter will matter.
