You arrive at Ypsilon 14, an abandoned rock spinning in the deep black of space. The routine cargo job should have been just another check-in on the mining crew, but as you dock, an eerie silence fills the base.

They tell you one of the workers vanished. No alarms. No blood. No body. Not even a record of the airlock cycling. As if they were erased. And it's not just one person. Strange malfunctions plague the base. Machines flicker on and off, casting shadows that seem to breathe and shudder. The air feels dense, electric—thick with something alive.

At the heart of the asteroid is a chunk of alien material, unlike anything cataloged, buried miles beneath the surface. The miners say it hums, like something dormant but dreaming. Some swear they've seen it pulse in the dark. And as more crew members turn up missing, rumors spread of whispers, luring the unlucky toward the pit’s edge, where they vanish without a sound. Paranoia festers. No one trusts anyone.

Now, you find yourself watching every shadow, every sealed door. Even the air feels wrong, like it’s pressing in, tasting you.

Escape is unthinkable. To survive? That’s a slimmer possibility. Because whatever is lying beneath Ypsilon 14 is still stirring, waiting… hungry.
