About the Event

Fallout: Settlers and Sampans [Season 1]

The bombs fell. The skyline crumbled. The MRT tunnels became something else entirely.

What was once Singapore is now a post-apocalyptic wasteland of irradiated ruins, scavenged tech, warring factions, and the occasional cursed hawker centre that probably should not be entered alone.

You are a survivor. So is everyone else at this table.

Together, your group has established a settlement at the studio, a fragile foothold in a dangerous world.

Every session, your crew chooses what to do next: launch an expedition into the ruins to recover weapons, supplies, or intelligence; stay behind to fortify the settlement and trade with returning parties; or make decisions that ripple through the community long after the session ends.

Settlers and Sampans is a drop-in, drop-out sandbox campaign inspired by the tension and weight of X-COM 2 and Darkest Dungeon, strategic, atmospheric, and built around the slow satisfaction of keeping your people alive one expedition at a time.

You do not need to attend every session. Your character either goes out on expedition or stays behind at the settlement when you're not there. The world keeps moving. The settlement keeps breathing. And every choice your party makes leaves its mark on what Singapore becomes.

Campaign Concept: The Settlement

All characters are survivors building and protecting a shared settlement at the studio. Between sessions, settlers can:

  • Declare intentions and plan upcoming expeditions via the campaign Discord

  • Trade supplies, weapons, and intel between characters

  • Coordinate party composition for specific expedition goals

  • Contribute to settlement development between sessions through RP

  • When you are not at the table, your character is still in the world, either out on a previous expedition or holding the line back at base. Nothing happens in a vacuum.

Getting Started

All players will be added to a dedicated Discord channel upon registration. This is where you will:

  • Find full character creation instructions and guidance

  • Declare session intentions and expedition plans

  • Trade resources and RP between sessions

  • Stay connected to the living settlement between your sessions at the table

  • Come with a character idea. Leave with a survivor.

Highlights

  • Post-Apocalyptic Singapore: The ruins of a world you recognise, twisted beyond repair

Notes from TableMinis

This is not a campaign about heroes saving the world.

It is a campaign about people, scraped together, resourceful, and stubborn, trying to keep a small piece of it from falling apart.

Settlers and Sampans rewards preparation, cooperation, and the willingness to make hard calls when supplies run low and the ruins get strange.

Singapore is waiting.

It is not what you remember.

Every Wednesday, we go deeper into what it has become. ____________________________________________________
