About the Event
Dungeon Mastering can be incredibly daunting, especially for newcomers. Becoming a good dungeon master is also quite challenging. With so many skills one needs to be proficient at, developing the right competency and having someone guide your journey can be very helpful.
In this workshop, we focus on narrating well and what that encompasses. From building a great hook to tying your player’s backstories in. We will cover all that and more with tips and tricks for narration.
We curated the lessons after interviewing hundreds of players and dungeon masters. Learning what mattered most to them when starting. Also learning the pitfalls to avoid in developing bad habits.
The core focus is on practicality. After each session of the workshop, you will Dungeon Master more effectively than you did before.
Not only will you get a substantial dose of theory, but there will also be plenty of space for discussions, engaging exercises, and Q&A with your guide.
We recommend this workshop for the following people.
- Brand-new & want help in narration.
- Starter Dungeon Masters who have a group or two and looking to improve
- Established Dungeon Masters who want to refine their skill set.
After completing the workshop, you will:
