Phantom of the Mourning Tide

The Hakuryū Valley has been a breadbasket for generations, rich soil, reliable rains, and a river spirit regarded by its people as holy. Then the river changed direction. Overnight, paddies drowned under muddy water, trade routes collapsed, and the valley's entire population was forced to flee to the mountain caves above the rising flood.

The spirit of the Hakuryū river has turned. Something has gone wrong, and the valley will not recover until someone goes in and fixes it.

Deluge of the Ascendant Cascade is an investigation and kaiju hunt adventure set across a flooded, fog-laden valley steeped in folklore and ecological wonder. The party must navigate a landscape transformed by disaster, piece together the story of what happened through the shrines and murals left behind, and confront a creature of enormous power that is not simply evil, just broken.

Understanding the spirit's nature may matter as much as surviving the fight.

This adventure rewards preparation, curiosity, and the willingness to look for a solution beyond the obvious one.
